Her career commenced as a Radiologic Technologist at a Level 1 Trauma Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Additionally, she is a proficient Cat Scan Technologist, consistently leveraging her expertise to enhance the Radiology team’s performance. Dr. Moore is a formidable presence in the workplace, renowned for her positive attitude and relentless energy, which she employs to inspire and motivate her colleagues towards excellence and success.


Dr. Moore’s Career Milestones


At my previous place of employment, I was very fortunate to have a group of leaders who are my mentors, who cared about my success as a leader in healthcare. I was awarded opportunities to embrace the fluidity and evolution of my career. They were very influential in my career trajectory and gave me the tools, knowledge and wisdom to succeed.


Addressing Prevalent Industry Challenges


The biggest challenges are staff shortages and employee burnout. As a team we are prioritizing employee satisfaction, giving the team members resources they need and addressing their concerns. We are working closely with talent acquisition to hire the right team members, using qualified staffing agencies and reminding employees to take time off for self-care.


Dr. Moore’s  Approach to Implementing New Technologies in Radiology


Technological advancements have helped improve the accessibility of the services Radiology is able to provide for patients. One example is Teleradiology. 


Emerging Trends in Radiology and Imaging Technologies


The integration of AI has a huge impact on the operational strategies and patient care management in the healthcare landscape. The algorithms of AI are capable of detecting abnormalities, prioritizing urgent cases and preventive care management.


Teleradiology has been able to help with the staffing shortages amongst Radiologist and provide radiology reports regardless of their geographical location to ensure that our patients receive timely and accurate diagnoses.


The integration of AI has a huge impact on the operational strategies and patient care management in the healthcare landscape.


Incorporating Advancements in Medical Imaging Technology


Staying up to date with the latest advancements and participating in training programs that serve to deliver patient care and operational processes. Also, engaging in continuous learning attending conferences, webinars and reading medical journals and online publications.
